Well, I have two all-time favorites. First of all, I absolutely love worship music. It feeds my soul like no other, so I love it for it's spiritual benefits. Consequently, my favorite artist in worship is Hillsong (and Hillsong United). I feel like they have a sound in worship that no one else has been able to capture on this planet! Plus their music ministers to me like few worship bands can do.

Ok, outside of worship, my favorite is Third Day (although they are halfway worship too). Something about their music just feels really clean and pure . . . that's the best way I can describe it. It's weird too, cuz with the style that they play, I usually wouldn't enjoy that kind of music, but Third Day has something appealing about them that makes me like them like no other!

if I could only pick one right now I would have to say Relient K..every album is usually a great one. If you go back through history Smitty, Petra, Stryper, DC Talk, Third day, Switchfoot, would have all ben #1 at various times.

Wow, that is a loaded question, since I have been listening to CCM since the 80's, and I think the first concert I went to was either Bryan Duncan or Amy Grant. To answer in a conservative tone, I would have to say either Michael W. Smith b/c he was a very early influence to my ccm enjoyment, along side of Newsboys and my 80's fave, White Heart. Comming full circle to 2008, I have been stuck on David Crowder Band since before "Can You Hear Us" even hit the store shelves. Lincoln Brewester, and Jermey Camp play frequently on my Ipod these days, along with Jermey Riddle and the recently downloaded Article One. OH, I forgot my other top fav, after DCB, is Switchfoot. Both DCB and Switchfoot I can listen to all day and never get tired of, not to metion I have all of their albums. OK, its final, DCB and Switchfoot.

I've answered some tough questions in my time but - 1 favorite artist - is just an unanswerable question. I also admire Jason very much and I am a mother of two teenage girls. Of all the idol contestants, I have liked him the best and hope that he will cling to his faith as he becomes more immersed in the music business. I loved his version of If I Fell, of course Hallelujah AI, and Over the Rainbow. His music and stage presence have a special, unaffected quality to it that seems unforgettable and quite unique. I look forward to tracking his music career and his walk with Christ.
