Newsboys?
I've seen the Newsboy live many times before, but I haven't seen them yet w/ Michael Tait as the lead singer. They always put on a great show, but one thing that was really cool about their show was the dualing drum solos. I'm wondering w/ Peter Furler not being in the band anymore...if that won't be a part of the show...considering that he was the band's former drummer. If any of you guys have seen the new version of the band live...then let me know how it is. I would still think it would be a good show, but how do you guys think it compares. They're about to be playing at Atlanta Fest soon...along w/ a lot of other great bands, & I was thinking about going. I would like some feedback.

I have only seen footage of Michael Tait with the Newsboys from a Winter Jam 2010 video on the internet. I haven't seen them live in concert with Michael Tait as the lead singer. If you have Facebook just become a fan of Newsboys (Offical) and listen to songs from their five song EP along with the Michael Tait version of Glorious. If you like those songs then you could like them in concert. I am sure there will also be some dc Talk songs at the concert from the Newsboys like Jesus Freak, Colored People, and many more. I hope that helps.

I watched a video on YouTube of them doing Breakfast along w/ a drum solo w/ him singing. I'm sure they'll sound good, but I was just wondering about the show. I'm sure the show will still be good...as it looked on the video I saw. The only main difference I would think...would be that I wouldn't think they would do that dualing drum solo. Thanks for the feedback though. So can you actually listen to songs on facebook. I'm a fan of a lot of bands on there, but the only way I knew of listening to songs on there was to use ilike. Then again, I haven't really looked at anything from those bands on there for a while.

I thought the songs sounded really good. It sounds like they have more of a rock edge. I'm planning to go watch them when they perform at Atlanta fest this yr.
