About Me

Tayla, now 17, has a heart for reaching this generation through song and seeing them rise up and worship Jesus in spirit and in truth. Her sole desire is to bring God all the glory and lift Him high with her voice. She started writing songs at the age of 10 and released her first full length album, "Footprints", in May of 2007 with multi-million selling producer and musician Ken Mary (SonicPhish Productions), and with musician / engineer Kevin Hodges (Northwest Recording). With this album, Tayla received a three and one half star review, (out of 4), in CCM Magazine, and has been a featured artist several times on Seattle’s SPIRIT 105.3 LMP program. Last summer, she was blessed with the opportunity to play at Creation FEST 2008 and has shared the stage with groups such as, SuperChick, The Afters, Everyday Sunday, Ruth, Remedy Drive, and Worth Dying For. Currently, Tayla is working actively on writing new music, rehearsing with her band, and playing shows in the northwest. She looks forward to opening for Switchfoot at LiveFaithFest in July.
